The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic (ASUP) Lafia Chapter started 2001 with the sole aim of uniting members of Nasarawa State Polytechnic Academic Staff together for the purpose of enlightment, co-operation and knowledge sharing.
The charpter started with COMR. RABIU MUHAMMAD GARBA as the caretaker chairman from 2001-2002.
